i saw him last year in donegal in ireland.. i was at the barrier he came down and hugged us all... you could actually see in his face how delighted he was to have people scream for him. not many artists have that big of a heart...brought me to tears..

Being a Blues lover but from another generation, my son just made me discover Charles Bradley's music and I'm so glad he did! This artist is loaded with talent and sings from his heart and soul, and boy, can he holler! A rare feat in this age of electro music and high-end technology where any wannabe singer can sound fine by whispering into a mike!! I am not sad he went to heaven -- since his genuine work, truthfulness and life hardship is ''mission accomplished''. RIP. Kudos also to the wonderful guitarist accompanying him on this tune... Infectious MUSIC!

This man's voice pierce’s and comforters my soul in a way that my future husband will do. This song brings tears to my gentle eyes, because when I just think that there is no love like “this” anymore here he comes! Songs like this makes me hold on .............i know within me that you will come & I know when you do I will give you all that I have within me to love you! For there is no greater joy then love! This is the blues baby!

honestly, how do you collect yourself off the floor and go on to conduct an interview after that? a problem with a lot of bands now is that they want to affect people, but they use half baked conceptual approaches and a retrospective attitude to pop. this music could have made in the 60's or 70's, but it has no retrospective element. it's folk music i guess. it transmits something to us. that has longevity.

if you can't convince your own brain to be this much into the song, you can't ever be a successful singer and/or actor. Not saying his soul is acting, but letting yourself being this affected by your own music is a choice you make that improves the quality of your singing / acting. So stop being impressed by that.
