I NEED your PRAYERS. If I'm correct about what every sermon, christian teaching and the like say...everything (as it relates to understanding the word /applying the word to our lives) must begin with studying the word. I study the word every day. I also hear where teachers of the word (such as Charles Capps), say, don't speak the problem. I have spent many decades praying and saying, ''I have knowledge, I have wisdom, I am intelligent'', etc.. I don't (o.k....rarely) speak the problem.This isn't helping, given my particular situation. I'm obviously not doing this right or I'd be able to study the word and comprehend at least enough by now to know more of the word than a child of 1st grade level. My ability to read is very good. When it comes to comprehension, well that's an entirely different issue. Even listening to biblical teachings which I even play all night as I sleep, (I prefer Charles Capps, ''Authority of the Believer'' and all of his teachings on ''Faith''), yet my learning difficulty issues have remained the same. I still have yet to hear a minister, preacher, etc. speak of learning difficulties. Physical disabilities such as blind, crippled, and so on are addressed however as being able to be healed. I KNOW the Lord has no limitations as it relates to healings, yet, again, EVERY sermon reminds us, learn of him, study his word and apply it to your life, believe and doubt not and whatsoever you ask for will be given unto you. What if I am yet unable to do that ? This is why I am now speaking the problem. I want so much, with all of my heart to understand his word. I'm in my 60's now and speaking the problem seems necessary in order for your help. I NEED YOUR PRAYERS. Thank you for reading this, I know it's a bit long. God bless you all.

Hi Alocinder, I AM NOT A REPRESENTATIVE OF CHARLES CAPPS MINISTRIES. I will say this to you my friend. You have to fight the good fight of faith . Find at least 1-3 scriptures and stand on them…at lest start off by standing on one scripture pertaining to your situation . And meditate on it day and night. Speak the scripture you select out loud, write it down memorize it. When you say something contrary to what you are believing… (say something like… i destroy the power of the words I just spoke in Jesus Name) STAND UNTIL YOU RECEIVE. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. We believe before we see.

@@wandawaldron7122 Thank you Wanda, what you've suggested makes a whole lot of sense. I think I've pretty much been biting off more than I can chew. I'm liking this idea of baby steps. I'm so thankful also for the part you put in parenthesis. It helps so much to know what I can say, what will be heard/ received through knowing how to word it properly. I tended to say,''sorry Lord, sorry God, sorry Jesus, sorry Holy spirit, sorry angels''. Not knowing what to say I'd try to cover all my bases. I appreciate you giving me some direction with that.
