Had the privileged of hearing him sing this last evening at the Lyric Opera of Chicago in their production of Eugene Onegin. He had the entire house in rapt silence and attention. It was really amazing.

I saw him in this same production and I can confirm this is accurate. Castronovo was the standout along with Dmitry Belosselskiy's gorgeous Gremin.

One of my favorite tenor in the world. Just saw him in Lucia at the Royal Opera House singing Edgardo. He was absolutely fantastic. This is a fabulous rendition of Kuda Kuda.

He is an absolutely amazing tenor. Kudos to him particularly because he was only a reasonably good tenor 15 years ago when I first heard him, but he is now genuinely amazing.

One of the few really good tenors on stage these days. Wonderful singing and excellent technique. Hope he does not demage his voice on attempting to sing heavier roles not suitable to his voice type, as many are doing now. Bravissimo.
