Please do Tatyana's aria... It would make sense, especially as a video of you singing it, and be a trilogy.

@ Phonetics: здравствуйте :-) I am not a singer, but a self-learner of your beautiful language and on an increasingly desperate search..."quest" for a Russian English Dictionary that provides the pronunciation of *Russian in IPA transcription. Is it possible that it is forbidden for Russians to use IPA? I know, Russian pronunciation rules describe everything needed and naturally I use audio. But I want to use IPA for my handwritten index cards. *I found an English Russian Dictionary explicitly for English native speakers learning Russian, which provided IPA for English... no kidding! I wish you all the best for your project!

Здравствуйте :) I like your sense of humor 😁 If you scroll down the description to this video, you will find point "5" with links to different systems, which try to describe Russian language with IPA system. I can’t say they are perfect, but good enough. To invent something new I have to go much much deeper into this theme, but it takes time, which I need now for other things 😅 These transcription I used in video I like more, but I don't know where you can find it as a system.

Thank you ❤ for your kind response! The Petersburg seems indeed to be the most practical solution! Other than the full chart it doesn't require GPS to find the way back home...These IPA people seem even to transcribe the noises of air-condition...Again thank you for taking the time:-) All the best from Hamburg in Northern Germany.

Great job! But doesn't the text of the second half of the last line deviate from your reading?
@AlyonaRostovskaya3 жыл бұрын
Which place do you mean exactly?
@ilecier3 жыл бұрын
@@AlyonaRostovskaya Go to the last line, last part after udalilis. It reads: vesni majej zlatije dni. You read: zlatije dni, zlatije dni, majej vesni.

@@AlyonaRostovskaya What's your one-word answer suppose to mean?
@AlyonaRostovskaya3 жыл бұрын
Вы поёте эту арию? for some reason my message was not sent. The purpose of my videos is to help singers (who do not speak Russian, but who want to include works of great Russian composers in their repertoire) to bring their pronunciation closer to a native speaker. I use a similar practice myself - when I need to learn an aria or romance in a foreign language, then I ask a native speaker or a special coach (which is even better) to work with me on the text of the piece, even if I know the language and can communicate in it. In the video, I read the text by sheet music, which will be used by the performer studying this aria, and for the initial purpose, it does not matter much to change the places of a couple of words. Are you a singer? Do you sing this aria?

Russian is, hands down, the most beautiful language in the world.
