Yeah Man1000 acually it cost more to execute an inmate. This is from an article I read on the subject. Studies of the California death penalty system, the largest in the US, have revealed that a death sentence costs at least 18 times as much as a sentence of life without parole would cost. It's in writing you can look it up I'm not going to argue a point that can easily be looked up.
@jamesoncross74946 жыл бұрын
Mercurial Pierrot he was a murderer. You don't actually have to kill someone to be convicted of murder. If you were the procuring cause of someone's death then you are a murderer. If you hire someone to kill someone else you are a murderer. If you tell someone to kill someone else you are a murderer. If you show someone how to murder someone else and you know they are going to use that knowlege to kill someone else, you are a murderer. So there are lots of ways to be a murderer without actually killing someone. So have a cup of shut the fuck up, on me.

Yes, for sure Charlie wrote music and had a pleasant voice. If Terry Melcher the record producer (Doris day's) had signed him and given him a chance. History would have been rewritten.. The positive attention and fame would have been beneficial for Charlie. Dennis Wilson of the "Beach Boys" supposedly took one of Charlie's songs altered the lyrics recorded it and didn't give any credit or money to Charlie. Not a nice guy. But we will never know.

Like Alieen Warnos they both are crazy but they make a lot of sense. Somewhat. Charles Manson is dead and licking the devils ass. He is getting his real punishment like Susan Akins. All of Manson's family members were freaky they believed in what Charles Manson said! Debra Tate is still re living this story. They are making a movie called Once Upon A Time In Hollywood with Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Margot Robbie is Sharon Tate, the movie comes out August 9 2019 50 yrs the anniversary of the murders. Debra Tate is still fighting for justice even after Charles Manson is dead.

I'm thinking that if Terry Melcher the record producer ( who rented the house out to Sharon Tate and Roman Polanski ) hadn't rejected Charlie and his music. Who knows maybe the events in August 1969 wouldn't have happened? Charlie always seemed to be seeking attention what ever way he could get it. His childhood and teenager days were dreadful. If someone allegedly tells people to kill and they do it! Isn't it considered the killers fault? Not saying Charlie didn't control them. But there was no real proof that he was responsible for the murders. Bobby killed Gary Hinman after Charlie left them alone. I am not saying Charlie was a good guy. But the fact is he wasn't on the scene at any of these killings. I think he was considered sane when mentally evaluated by several Doctor's. He gets a death sentence changed to life in prison. But O.J. Simpson who did murder two people with his own two hands is acquitted!! That makes a lot of sense.

There were two movies made at the time, but only one was 100% factual, "Helter Skelter" by Vince Bugliosi. The other (called The Family) was mickey-mouse at best and was full of crap, mis-statements and errors. Others have been made in the intervening years, but as time goes on, movie efforts only get worse. If you want the real deal, go for the book and the movie, Helter-Skelter, both by Vince Bugliosi. He should know. He was the prosecutor for the Manson family members in 1970 and 1971, and it doesn't get any more authentic than that!

I'm not taking up for the guy at all but what if he told the truth? What if the witnesses were coerced to witness against him. It helped everyone else involved and made others tons of Money. I'm not saying he's innocent but I'm not sure I believe the narrative that was made against him. One thing I can say is he wasn't insane.

Really weird thing is that Manson and prosecutor Bugliosi were both born in 1934 but Manson outlived Bugliosi by 2 years. Amazing because Manson spent so many years in prison eating basically poison prison food and Bugliosi ate at the best restaurants and had the best housing and health care and Manson still outlived him by 2 years.
@lancasterritzyescargotdine26022 жыл бұрын
Manson outlived him because he was sequestered from society's ills and viruses, not because he was fed poison jail food. It wasn't gourmet, but it wasn't laden with cholesterol and calories, either. That most prisoners outlive their victims is not that unusual.
