When I started to watch the show, expecially in that boxing scene I thought Charles was deliberately flirting with Edwin so I thought he was the one pining and that’s because of how Jayden choosed to portray him and that makes absolutely sense since he is clearly a payneland shipper. Intense bisexual vibes from this character Also for those arguing that this is a healthy representation of male friendship I know what you mean but I don’t see it because in my experience as a straight woman I don’t act that way around my super close female friends that I love very much.

Let me help you out with the interpretation that the fandom is running on "I can't say that I'm in love with you"-- he can't say whether or not whatever he feels for Edwin is romantic, since he probably hasn't thought about that subject much at all. "we have literally forever to figure this out"-- Charles is probably going to be thinking about and reassessing the way he feels for Edwin so that he can give him a proper and meaningful answer as to how he feels because he cares about him enough to do so. I don't know about you, but that seems pretty open-ended to me. Also, isn't he canonically bi in the comics, aka the source material? Why would they change that in the adaptation?

@@rorycuny Hi! First of all, if you don't enjoy this video or my headcanon of Charles being bisexual, you can simply ignore it and scroll away to find contents that you are actually into. Secondly, the point of this video was never to show whether Charles is simping over anyone or not, but to show my personal headcanon of him giving huge bisexual energy and the subtle hints and presentation of him exploring the concept of bisexuality throughout the show. I believe that even if Charles has canonically stated that he doesn't love Edwin back in the romantic way, it doesn't necessarily lead to the conclusion that there's no chance or potential possibility of him being bi+, because it's indicated in the show that the boys are still on their way to discover and understand the inclusiveness of romantic and sexual orientation.
