THANK YOOOUUUUUU I feel like I have not seen a single person in this fandom acknowledging what a creepy nonce the cat king is. my skin CRAWLED every scene with him heavy breathing all over edwin and I know he was a bit of a sexual awakening for edwin - which is fine and valid - but edwin also seemed pretty uncomfy with his behaviour? and not just in a repressed way but in a 'get away from me I do not want this attention from you' kinda way. and I see people in this very comments section saying 'oh but edwin isn't REALLY 16, he's over 100' and sure, I would be with you, except the show itself repeatedly emphasises that edwin and charles both still see themselves as teenage boys. they are repeatedly referred to as teens, minors and children, they refer to themselves as such and relate to living teens as age peers, and the cat king himself even refers to charles as a boy and a child even though it's very clear that edwin sees himself and charles as the same age. like the character HIMSELF experiences his existence as a teenage boy and is (ostensibly) still physically a teenage boy. but yeah even without the icky age thing the cat king is still a creep who doesn't respect boundaries so I was happy to see him slandered in this video
