Link-if your LDL cholesterol is high with that family history, you should consider seeing a cardiac genetic counselor to do some genetic testing! If they find a gene change, you and your kids could benefit from early testing and treatment to help try to avoid cardiac events in the future. Love from a mythical genetic counselor!

Yeah, but.... Not all cholesterol is bad... As you know and from both of their lifestyles and neither of them being overweight or having obesity in that family(from what we see)... I bet Charles' testosterone levels are high and healthy. With the reverse that Link is probably suffering from Lower T and the weird mood swings and anger are my indication of that. Sadly as healthy as he probably does eat, the show GMM forces him to eat processed garbage... Too much Soy/Canola/Palm oil.... Which are terrible for your liver and for whatever reason is in everything from the normal brands of Peanut butter, Salad dressings, Breads, Chips and snacks, pizzas, frozen dinners and desserts.. my God everything. Where I think Charles is eating more southern cooked meals and probably still has a relatively healthy liver for his age and not being a mostly plant based diet his whole life. 😉

@@brokenspritesa diagnosis can't be made from what is being shown to the public online, ever. Those of us watching him a long time may know him well, but that doesn't translate to official medical data.
@brokensprites4 ай бұрын
@@xoRaQxo Charles still is an active man, paints houses (interior and exterior) for a living, that's hard work.... And usually why the long term painters use alcohol to soothe those aches and pains. Link definitely puts on a show, but his most jaw dropping moments are almost like wow wtf... Either something ignorant, mean or angry for what appears to be absolutely no reason ... Poor gut health can lead to mood swings, depression, violent outbursts.... GMM really does have Link and Rhett eating so much processed food which contains a lot of Palm/Canola/Vegetable oil and other seed oils, replacing that taboo Peanut oil that everyone has allergies towards. Those oils are in everything from Fast food, frozen meals, boxes meals, pudding, peanut butter, cookies, snack cakes, chocolate bars, ice creams, breads, pastries, sauces, marinades, candies and sweets, chips, dips, nuggets, chicken patties, corn dogs... most processed foods... It's in everything and usually the cheaper options because it has a longer shelf life. But Link's job is basically tasting food at this point and he may be skinny, but those are bad cholesterol.... Charles seems like a home cooked meal kind of guy and southern boys usually make it from scratch, I lived in South Carolina (Florence) and the food is amazing and if you went to church, everyone brought food to share, so to my experience it was a healthier lifestyle compared to busy city life.... Not to say all Southern cooking is healthy, but real home made is always better.

Happy Father’s Day to both Link and Charles! Charles made an amazing guest appearance last week at the Raleigh show for the Good Mythical Tour. I am not exaggerating when I say that when he came on stage, he received the loudest cheers of the night. The crowd was standing up and going wild. Mythical Beast love you, Charles. I even wish he was part of the Meet and greet, he would have had a very long line!
