This is just the most incredible sound - totally awesome to think that not one single pipe is having air blown through it to generate such a magnificent soundscape. From the punch and growl of those fiery reeds to the mellifluous purring of the mellow flues and the undulating warmth of the shimmering strings . . . your Physis 'Ouverture' is the definitive example of how an organist can have a home instrument that is equal to any Hauptwerk sample sounded organ - or any real pipe organ - anywhere in the world! Congratulations! Your interpretation and performance of Charles Tournemire's 'Tryptique' is equally awesome. The 'soft blur' in one of the cameras adds a perfect mystical glaze to the ethereal dimension in the 'Holy Spirit' section and I thought the effect was quite deliberate (so no need to confess any shortfall with the videography!) To paraphrase what another AI beast once said in a Terminator movie: "We'll be back . . . for more"! B R A V O !

Bravo Paolo! Always setting new standards! Could you give us some details on the buzzword "AI" and how you have managed to implement it in your audio signal chain?

Thanks, Stephan! As you might probably know, AI is now largely used in audio engineering for various purposes. The system I used allows me to capture a particular organ's soundscape and apply it to the digital instrument. Now, just to be honest, AI does not make miracles. A thorough and careful voicing is required as a starting point, then the AI filter can be generated and, lastly, some manual intervention is still required to give a consistent shape to the sound image. So, let's say that both artificial and human intelligence are at work here! 😀

@@sursumcordaetdominilaus Sono tra le più lineari in commercio, io le uso alternativamente alle Sennheiser HD650. Ho anche un paio di AKG K612 Pro che, malgrado il prezzo ridotto rispetto ad altre AKG, hanno una performance di tutto rispetto. E ho pure le Bose e le uso in aereo per il noise cancelling, ma mai per la musica perché hanno una risposta in frequenza che sembra un roller-coaster! 😄

I don’t use a single tool, it is an AI chain. I am still working to tune the whole process because the sound can be improved even further. Maybe at the end I will shoot a video with all the tricks!
