Always loved Woodson from his days at Michigan to Oakland to Green Bay back to Oakland . So glad he won a SB ring (should've had 2). I was so glad when the Packers signed even if he wasn't he came to love though. Just glad I got to see him play all those years the NFL will sure miss a player of his caliber. GO PACK GO

Charles Woodson definitely deserved that Heisman more than Peyton and Moss. That's friggin' insane- to have 3 players who are now arguable one of the best in their respected positions to be nominated for a heisman. That last season in Michigan was insane.

growing up in australia an NFL fan sucked until a few years ago! footage of my favourite players was so hard to find and never on TV. Woodson made me a Michigan fan. Then he happened to be drafted by my team. He's always been my favorite player. He's part of my childhood memories so I undoubtedly shed a tear or two when I found out he was retiring this year. It's like a part of my childhood is gone now. Sure he'll be on ESPN (best choice that network has ever made) but he won't be on the field- which I was so used to every sunday.

Charles Woodson is easily one of my favorite football players ever. omg I. LOVED. WATCHING. HIM. PLAY! i still remember as a kid watching packer games and wondering who this MF'er was that was just dynamite at returning punts. little did i know....... charles woodson easily has one of the most impressive football careers EVER. EASILY!!! Collegiate national champ Heisman winner, last non QB/RB to win. and he beat peyton freaking manning for it 4th overall pick NFL D ROY NFL D POY 9x pro bowler 4x 1st team all pro 4x 2nd team all pro NFLs 2000 all decade team NFL champ and lets not forget he successfully made a transition from CB to Safety, very few players have done this and im not even gonna try and find every record he owns i have no clue where he would rank as an all time great but i would find it hard to believe he is outside the top 25 best defensive players ever FUCKING LEGEND
