I just finished watching Int. Chinatown and it was one of the best new shows I have seen in a long time. I loved the layers of story telling and also the immigrant story that still exists today. The racism, and stereo typing and misunderstanding of other people's culture and trying to make everyone one race is still happening.

I feel like they get invited because Ronny gets to bring them on. One thing I will say that I've really enjoyed about the rotating table is that we're getting a really broad set of guests on because each host has different interests, and that's been really cool.

Interior Chinatown was refreshingly self-aware about Asian stereotypes and the little dig at David Chang from Momofuku who tried to copyright Chilli Crisp. I thought this show really made fun of that a lot with their table sauce

It’s funny to see ronnie trying to balance himself between caring-ronnie who wants to pay tribute to a seemingly shy modest guy he think deserves some spotlight, whilst not totally dropping the ‘I’m ronnie and I don’t give a fck’. I like when people who deserve recognition gets it like this. Some people don’t promote themselves to be recognised, they get recognised because others think they deserve it.

Show was okay, some scenes and character building dragged on for a bit too long, characters were a bit quirky and didn’t seem to interact well in the earlier episodes but seem to eventually have found their chemistry on set later on. The writer is metaphorically telling the typical story of Chinese Americans being the voiceless minority, always there but hardly ever to be considered important enough to be of any value in society and the show puts our characters in a alternate universe to help dispel that belief so that we may see if not in reality then at least on screen that we can change our POV in fighting for who we want to be.

Basically Into the Spiderverse (1 and 2), Pleasantville and Truman clumped together, but with Asian faces.
