Proud of you both for participating in sending supplies to the Bahamas. The damage done is unbelievable and they are so many tragic stories coming out now that I dread the update on the number of deceased. I keep thinking of them and pray for Georgia, the Carolinas and every one else in the path of Dorian.

Yes we are so blessed we were spared for this horrible hurricane. I do feel so heartbroken seeing what these people are living through in the Bahamas. Everyone should send their hurricane supplies over there.

A little The More You Know moment. Hurricanes don’t move by themselves. They have to be carried by high and low pressures and wind currents in the atmosphere. The reason for Dorians behavior was because both high pressure areas (one on the east coast and one on the gulf) that were carrying it suddenly disappeared. Leaving the hurricane stranded over the Bahamas. It began moving again because the currents from the gulf came by and picked it northwards. It would’ve eventually degrade if it stayed over the Bahamas because it was cooling down the water. But it would’ve been a few more excruciating days for that island.

Y'all are Soo lucky, didn't even have to evacuate ! Dorian is picking back up speed as it's heading towards SC and NC. My daughter evacuated Wilmington NC today. She has only been back in her home from Florence 6 months !

I’m super excited to hear that you’re coming to St Augustine. I actually work at the Ripley’s there and we are known to be one of the most haunted places with our 18 confirmed haunts. Our haunted tour is great and I think you guys will love it. Just as a warning, we have a lift instead of an elevator and we generally don’t allow people with strollers inside. We’re also dog friendly so if you want to bring the pups along you can do that. I really hope I get a chance to meet you guys!

You will love St Augustine. There’s a haunted cemetery tour you can take. I absolutely love the feeling there. A lot of history.

I am glad to hear that weather has moved away from Florida and wasn't dangerous or really bad and that everyone in Florida is okay. I hope that everyone else in the states is okay and nothing bad happened from the weather and the hurricane. I do feel bad for all the ones who are in the Bahama's and the other islands and I am glad tha t y'all are going to be helping them out with sending things that is needed to those areas.That's awesome Charles that Allie is taking you to St. Augustine for your birthday and y'all get to explore that area which will be neat to see in the vlogs when y'all go. Hi! We took a trip to Vermont with two kids, so we needed a roof rack. We have a Subaru like Allie, and we bought a storage bag like you saw in the store and it worked great with the rails attached to our car. Just make sure you buy extra straps... the straps that come with the bag suck! We got more straps at target.

Yay! I love going to St. Augustine! It's weird to be where the Spaniards were battling it out for land, etc. So cool! I was first & last there in 1997. Beautiful place. I am meant to be a Floridian. I love the Atlantic view

My young niece and her Marine husband live in Jacksonville North Carolina at Camp Lejuene. They are expecting to get hit. She already said this morning they are expecting power loss and lots of rain. I am saying prayers for them and the people in the Bahamas and Abaco Island. So sad for them.

@Charles and Allie For the newer model Subaru Outback and to use the cross bars on top of your car you have to buy cross rails from a dealership or Subaru manufacturer (China) ! We just had to buy 2018 Subaru Outback and we had to order from the dealership (they were/are on back order) and it took about 6 weeks to arrive. I think Subaru makes a “Coffin” storage container for the top of the Subaru. Instead of buying the ski rack rails we went with the cross rails instead. Anyways, hope you see this! St Augustine is sooo fun!! I went years and but make sure you go to the lighthouse and Castillo de San Marcos fort those are VERY haunted....ghost adventures had went there as well. I went to those two places many many years ago.

They said the change of water temperature is what did it. The water temp dropped just a few degrees. I think they said only 6 degrees, don’t quote me and it became stationary and kept pulling the cooler water back up into itself and dropping it again cooling it off more so it stopped. Has to have that warm water to advance. Supposedly climate temperatures are causing this. This was the largest storm since 1935 before they started naming them.
