Yes! We never put mittens on our babies!
@kkssssssk5 жыл бұрын
lol!!!!! All of you, mind your own business! It’s hard to cut the nails of active babies and you DON’T want to mistakenly cut their fingers! Placing the soft mittens on the hands keeps them from scratching themselves or hurting their eyes, ears, whatever! Plenty of time for fingers to explore! Trillions of babies have grown up productively even though they wore mittens!
@johnpro3185 жыл бұрын
@@kkssssssk I think they were just trying to give some tips based on their experiences. I would file her nails, not cut them yet. No chance of hurting them if you file the nails.

Johnathan Prochaska - I get it, I’m a mom of a 24 year old! Her nails were hard to clip or file as a baby. When little hands flail around, mistakes (even with a soft file) can happen. It’s just that people are so quick to give advice and then I noticed in their Instagram story, no hands mittens!

As she gets older and more aware of toys and her surroundings the tougher it may become to get her away from those things for sleep. It’s ok to let her fall asleep on the floor playing (put her to bed obviously) but as long as she’s not getting frustrated with the toys or dog or TV or dads beard just let her be. Immunization time was what got my son. The MMR vaccine was the toughest. He would have hours and hours of uncontrollable crying and with that came holding his breath. (If they pass out they start to breath again... don’t worry!) and sometimes the more you try to stop the crying... the harder they fight to cry because they don’t know what they want and can’t tell you. You guys got this!!

You can always try essential oils (just really educate yourself with age appropriate ones / diluting etc). My BIG help was “gentle baby” oil from Young Living. I hold the bottle 20sec under her nose and the BIGGEST hysterical moments go away. We put a diffuser next to her bed and she sleeps much better. Oils also can help w teething - but again pls educate yourself. Don’t buy oils in target dollar bins or TJ maxx ones ! You’re doing amazing guys 🌸

She was such a happy baby and then all of a sudden she was screaming crying and sounded like she was in so much pain. We tried everything to console her. She would even cry in the middle of feeding her. If she's still colicky, my pediatrician recommended celery tea for my son, I boiled half a celery stick, let it sit to room temperature and gave him an ounce once a day at first, then 2 ounces as he got older.
