I'm from Sierra Leone and I do not have assess to tamed grasscutters so I'm on the verge of domesticating wild grasscutters from hunters. I believe it helps to use small size cages for taming. Any advice/comment?

Reducing the size of their cages doesn't really tame them. One proven method I know is that most farmers normally dip the grass they feed their grasscutters into salt solution before giving it to them. This makes them see the difference between the food you give them and what they are used to in the wild hence makes them stay and not wanting to leave.
