Just received mine . Best way I can describe the beam is instead of a super long pencil thin beam or a huge wall of light you get a big fat round beam that gives you a big fat hotspot that shoots suprisingly far. Oh and absolutely love the tint on the xhp70, really makes things more clearly seen. Love it I love it.

Charles is a beautiful light I had at night sold it to a friend that begged me over and over he didn't have the money to buy it and I sold it to him for $100 and I'm so upset about it I'm going to buy another one and the t27 is very nice too but my favorite is the 45 Ace beam 45 that's my favorite but that's just a little bit too expensive for me right now

Well hopefully smaller and brighter with less heat would be nice. I still remember the flashlights that came with the black cat batteries and only 8 candle power using them camping thinking we could see so much at night, LOL.

Just got this today, I like it. Imo good for building security if you work nights, or apartment/home security. Throws pretty good range. Have to pull battery to charge it - so will buy some more batteries for standby use. Btw... would not want to be on the receiving end of this strobe.

I know I must have said this before... But I have vintage LED flashlights circa 2004+. They range from 80 lumens and top off at 120 lumens. I thought what the heck I have! Still very usable, but in comparison...

What would you choose between this and a Fenix PD40R or TK16, cost aside? I know this is a little bigger, but they're both compact enough for my need. They both seem to have a good blend of flood and throw. Love the videos, especially how you use the same test site for every light, makes it MUCH easier to compare lights.
