One of the big things I always question as I've started making patterns the way you do, is what to "choose" to trace to be cut. Like which parts will be solid and which parts will be cut out. I struggle with seeing it in my head as I'm tracing etc. But each video I see gets me closer to understanding it fully! Thank you for making these and for the ones on your site!

While I'm watching this I'm wondering where so you uput the glass of which you speak?

The glass is on my desk. A clean sheet of paper with carbon paper is taped to it on the corners. The printout is taped on the top and away we go

If you're wondering where I get the glass from, I buy a cheap 11 x 14 frame from Walmart and take the glass out of the frame.
