Met Jack Hewitt at Indy in 1998 when he made the show. Great ambassador of the sport.

Do you have the I-70 race mentioned in the video?

I saw that you edited out the IRP Midget feature segment out of this video. I really want to see that, is it any possibility that you could post that in a separate video? Or, have you done that already?

Already posted it 4 years ago. 8-2-1995 USAC Midgets at IRP (Thursday Night Thunder)

how did michner get the pole in the feature from the semi?
@charlesintestine10 жыл бұрын
USAC's rule is to invert the top 6 qualifiers in the feature. Michner was the 6th fastest qualifier, so he got the pole. They have changed their format in the last few years. Now, you have to transfer through the heats to get your time back. If this race were today, the best position Michner could start would be 7th.

Yeah that was a stupid rule. Why ever run heats at all. Qualify and then run the semi and the feature. It would make more sense! Guess that's why they changed it. You have one of my favorite channels on youtube FYI. I love this stuff!
