Great timelapse of the Milky Way! 👏 One thing I was confused about was combining the interval shooting and the Timelapse Movie mode. I was wondering if the two modes would interfere with each other. I had to Google this and found the Z6II online manual. In case any other viewers are confused, within the interval shooting menu there is an ‘Options’ menu item. Select that, and within that sub-menu is the ability to also film the Timelapse movie 😊. I think this was missed.

Thanks I’m going to practice shooting time lapse for this coming solar eclipse..any tips?
@CharlesNPhotography9 ай бұрын
Shooting a time-lapse of a Solar Eclipse is not easy as you'll need to use a variable ND filter from when the Sun is very bright to when the sun is hidden.

Hey Charles, amazing time-lapse and thanks for the explanations, I manage to make a time-lapse from day to night with your help.. Could you please help me out to resolve this issue with Z6ii? I only managed to use one time the interval timer shooting in manual mode (f4, iso 1600 and 13 sec - astrophotography), but now it does not work it asks to use it in P or A mode. I really don't know what settings I made in the camera that does not allow me to shoot interval in manual mode anymore. I did use bracketing exposure and I check it, it is off. Do you have any idea what setting can prevent me to shoot interval? I've been searching for days and could not find an answer. Thanks for you time
@CharlesNPhotography3 ай бұрын
Are you using Auto-ISO?. It's hard to give you an answer has I don't know the setting you used. Also what was the full Error Message you got.

@@CharlesNPhotography Full manual. Thanks for your reply, I figure it out, it was enabled the interval priority, which I understand it works in P and A mode, not in full manual 🙈. Thanks again ❤️, love your tutorials!

I have a question about the battery. I tried shooting a timelapse video the other day and my battery lasted only for a couple of hours. Perhaps I should use a power bank connected to my camera, so it will drain it first? Are there settings that I should use so my battery won't die as fast? Thank you.
@CharlesNPhotography6 ай бұрын
Yes, you definitely need a power bank. I use an Anker powerbank. Make sure that it's compatible with the Z6II
