Most of the time you don't pay a Fair price for gold so you are in the negative as far as value as soon as you buy it. That's why they say gold decreases once you buy or alter it because what you got charged for it, was twice as much as guy selling it which usually has Connections outside of the country because Gold is going to cheaper in places where it can still be found in natural resources. You think it's still valuable but you already paid the maximum of value for it.
