Every gang member I know joined in middle school, 9th-10th grade at the latest. Joining gangs is a children's activity. The majority of black and Hispanic gangs in the country were made by literal children who decided to make a little crew one day when they were hanging out at the neighborhood park. There's nothing more embarrassing than being a grown man and deciding to join a gang that the majority of the members got put on with at age 12 behind the portables at summer school.

Memphis a very gangstarized city too. But like the Midwest was more known for Mob style gangsterism and the West with street gangs down South was more so about families, cliques, crews who make money off trapping or organized crime together. The South is more about getting rich or die trying, making it out of poverty and drugs which in return can make people irrational and cause murders robberies carjackings etc. That’s why nowadays most of the most dangerous cities are in the South bc they don’t deal with strictly gang violence it’s more so of a combination of issues.

Life doesn’t always call for bravado. That’s why sigmas are apex in there own right. When you’re institutionalized by way of understanding that you can never truly take yourself away from the playing field because there’s always another independent variable. You develop enough discipline and observance to create more control at will. Brave hearts have to hibernate and *CAN* make far more mistakes *THINKING* their in control than The Quiet Chosen because response is abt gathering intel as much as it’s abt being prepared. That’s the difference - Public vs Preparatory School or Theater vs Improv or Director vs Cast or even better Prepared vs Ready Self control is about reading and understanding literature as much as dialogue and rhetoric.
