They need a fully independent complaints system for the NHS. I made a complaint recently about waiting 7 months for a second MRI scan after they found a little white patch in my brain on the first one in September 2023, then cancelled the second one in February... Still waiting while my brain gets consumed or dies off. All they did was pass my complaint around different trust departments, all I want is a second scan but they treat it like you're trying to catch them out for a claim. It's shockingly bad once you have a problem.

Same with my sister during covid. As soon as she arrived in hospital, two doctors tried to persuade her to sign a DNR. This was before she had any sort of medical attention. She refused and they said resuscitation is not like the films, it's very brutal often breaking the ribs. She still refused and yet another doctor came to again try to persuade her, without success. Only treatment she got for pneumonia was oxygen. Absolutely nothing else. She survived as she's a tough old bird, bless her.

That man is correct i was beaten and assaulted in hospital 5mins after a 5hr 30 mins spinal operation by security guards because i asked for a cigarette as soon as i opend my eyes the nurses alome couldn't cope with saying no so security was called and i was attacked in my bed the police was called i was handcuffed while i was on another planet from the anaesthetic and the hospitals covered it all up denied any complaints from me wouldn't give me the cctv and body cam footage and told me i had to put up and shut up was the word out of the drs mouth now i live with health problems for the rest of my life so do i personally look for the security guard my self to get my own justice

4:07 rather than trying to privatise the NHS, what they should do instead is give mental health and hidden disabilities a separate body, away from the NHS entirely, as GP’s still don’t get enough training on mental health and hidden disability issues and are not qualified to do so - the mental health and social services/social care “care in the community” crisis alone is having to involve the police and the ambulance service to pick up the pieces of shattered lives, which they are not qualified to handle and should not be handling as “care in the community” is not working and has nothing to do with funding, it’s NHS wastage and mismanagement at the very top, too many managers and frontline staff in the NHS are not getting the support they need
