Augustus: a literal snack, but him and his mom never changes. He sucks his fingers on the way out Violet: all blue and splashing a bit of water (probably from being juiced or the paint the girl who played violet named AnnaSophia Robb used on set), she probably learned to take things and ask if it’s safe, and still a world record and Veruca: all a mess and covered in trash and her hair is messed up with flies flying around she’s probably still spoiled but her daddy started to yell at her instead of giving her what she wanted! Mike: looks like he just came out of a video game and probably regrets the whole thing and his father probably gave him a spanking If they stayed like that forever: Augustus: probably came off with a quick shower or something. Violet: she stayed like that forever and kids make fun of her Veruca: it came off with an easy bath. Mike: stayed like that forever and regretted it. If they are ok or not Augustus: he’s happy to eat the chocolate on him. Violet: she’s now more comfortable than before. Veruca: not really she is mad because now she doesn’t get what she wants. Mike: guilty for his actions and behavior. The song styles of all 4 kids: Augustus: Mysterious Violet: pop, funky Veruca: Peaceful and sad somehow Mike: 90’s rock music lol 😂

2005 movie is far superior: - More book accurate - Better ending - More interesting characterisation (the original characters were really basic and flat) - Mr Bucket exists - Better grandparents (they were NOTHING in the first) - Excellent cinematography - Great, unique atmosphere - Superb sets - Varied and catchy music (not the same copy-paste template) - Wonka’s backstory - Dahl hated the original movie (even said it was too sappy and saccharine) - Is actually a passion project rather than a commercial masked as a movie
