If you fix a old piece of conveyor belt on the screen where the feed conveyer material hits it , it will stop the roots going through the screen and they will slide down the screen deck instead of them getting stuck,

These machines do a wonderful job! I worked for a company that made topsoil from construction clearing sites. Add a bit of sand, & compost, & that nasty clay dirt becomes beautiful topsoil! This looks like the same model of screener they used in their operation. They didn't have enough work to keep me busy 40 hours each week, so I moved on.

The Finlay 300 series I used to run was on a wheeled chassis and the finished pay material came off the front belt. But the Finlay had a grizzly over the hopper. And after a few hours of operation, I had to climb under the screen deck to clean out the piano wire screen the bottom deck had. What a damn headache that was.

beats the hell out of hauling it all to the silo screener and changing the screens every couple of hours. I bet I've built a hundred trailers with that same size weave screen for bottoms to haul wood with. as for a quarter million dollar screener don't forget the semi, low boy, excavator, and skills, all those hidden costs to make $1.95 a yard dirt

If it’s like the shaker that we have in the one we got is bigger than that and we run sand and gravel through it and if you put anything wet in it you constantly having to unstop the screens and it really gets aggravating after a while. The company that I work for their name is Leon Lowe and Sons out of Pearl River Louisiana. We do everything we clear land we log we put drainage in for the street we put the sewage and water pipe in we lay all the rock on concrete for the road and we have our own asphalt plant depending on which we use asphalt or concrete for the roads and we even have her own gravel pit

very similar to the McCluskey that I run sometimes. But that power screen I like better cuz it's not as wide so you don't need the permits or Flags.be careful of logs getting sideways in the hopper. Without Grizzly bars you can get some big stuff in there stuck And I shovel it out near any of the bearings at the end of the day. To clean the screen we run some tailings back through when it knocks the dirt off. The not so good topsoil it's good for around commercial buildings or for Road shoulders
