Richard is hoping he will find his way into the Guinness Book of Records, but Norris Macwhirter is not answering his calls. His guest is making a return visit to RHLSTP after 7 and a half years (but will his hair reveal his success?) - it’s the amazing Charlie Brooker.
The conversation is predictably dark and disgusting incorporating Charlie’s fury at a seven year old who makes an amazing living opening boxes, trying to introduce his kids to the Young Ones, what the best pinball machine is, whether having sex with your best friend via computer game is cheating, the complexity of writing a choose your own adventure TV show, being born with an umbilical cord around your neck and how you can kill sperm with urine. Plus the inevitability of nuclear war and whether all people over 45 need to die to save the world. It’s good.

I cannot tell you how happy I was to see this pop up this morning. Not only because it's the great Brooker but because these uploads are one of the few pleasures in my life (really) I listen to them in the bath after work and in bed to help me drift off, and now I will be listening simply to fill the time for the foreseeable. I know I'm not alone in saying these videos have helped me mentally and some of the stories and messages from the guests have resonated, educated and moved me in addition to the laughter. Seeing Richard in the clip before the video made me a bit emotional too. We truly don't know how long we will be in this mess and I'm sure ppl are worrying as I am. We are in it together guys I hope you all find the strength to make it through with some positive outcomes to show for it. God bless. Keep talking and reach out to others if you need help or in a position to give help.Lastly,Thank you Richard to you Chris Evans (not that one) and all the crew that make these shows possible- you legends xx

Charlie Brooker is great. He's had so many online twats criticising him for simply advancing his career it's ridiculous. He is so grounded and unaffected it's to his credit.
