Donna says they have to go to Ft Lauderdale to get something that is “bigger” than some things given to them through Janice by someone named Anna.

Second, Donna is sooo evil she has no problem leaving her family high and dry to save her own skin. I would add that if my son was being charged with something he truly did not do I would fight tooth and nail and take the stand to prove his innocence. That’s what we call showing deference-the Markels probably wanted to “fall all over them” and stay for hours. They probably wanted to scoop them up and fly back home with them. But unlike the Adelsons, the Markels are treading lightly so they don’t encroach on the boys’ personal space. They are exercising self control, something the Fatalsons don’t have.

The Adelson's purchased their out of country flight Nov 7 departing Nov 13. This call is 4 days prior. They've been packing, making arrangements to leave and yet they talk to their son who's just been found guilty of murder like everything is "normal" for them. Not an ounce of guilt in their voice.
