I imagine Wendi talked about how nervous and excited she was to go ahead with the TV replacement and was Charlie absolutely sure the transaction was the best course of action, and Charlie assuring her that replacing the TV was really the only course of action, that she and the boys would be so much better off with a new TV, that obviously the cracked screen was beyond repair, no amount of money spent is too much for you, Wendi, it was ridiculous what you were having to put up with with that stupid TV, you might as well accept the help offered you, and you'll be so glad once you've gone ahead and OK'd the transaction, and even though it can be stressful to have to make these kinds of decisions, your family is behind you 1000%, and it'll all be OK.....I'm sure Charlie could talk about variations on this theme for 18 minutes......And then she couldn't help herself and had to peak and see if the transaction went through. And then scrambled around town to obtain receipts that would serve as a quasi-alibi. Except an alibi for a murder by proxy isn't really a thing. And showing up at the crime scene and telling five different versions of how you did or did not show up at the crime scene could be all it takes to nail Wendi, who will continue to insist it was all a coincidence. Telling five different versions....what's that saying, Wendi? Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus? Good luck at your trial, Wendi.

Wendi says they discussed the tv during that call around 10am. Charlie says that she was giving him sisterly relationship advice. What’s interesting is that according to her the tv repairman was there til 11 so very strange that they would discuss fixing the tv. At that exact moment, Dan had arrived to the gym and was being trailed by the killers.

Another motive of Wendy’s besides relocation is that her & Dan had that same set of friends & colleagues at FSU. After the divorce these people tended to take sides & support either “Team Wendy” or “Team Dan”. These friends & coworkers were all well aware of what was going on with the court filings & accusations. Wendy was constantly everyone know that ..” Dan is accusing me of stealing” & “ Dan is trying to get me disbarred”…” Dan is taking me to court again”. She did this for sympathy & to try to turn friends against Dan. When Dan made his last filling accusing Wendy of deceiving the court & hiding asserts I think Wendy knew that Dan had her cornered. If the court ruled in Dan’s favor Wendy would have been mortified both at work & amongst her circle of friends as she tried so hard to paint Dan as a crazy obsessed man who was just harassing Wendy with frivolous court filings. She would’ve been exposed as a liar & a thief. She wasn’t going to take the chance of that happening.

And the possibility of loosing her law license PLUS being stuck in Tally would be mortifying. Not being a self important attorney would destroy her ego. I really think had that happened she'd give custody to Dan and flee. Tally would be too small to survive such a humiliating experience.

Bingo! Yup Wendy has everything to lose if Dan prevailed in court. And by all accounts he would have. Dan seems to have had the facts and the law on his side. That’s what happens when you have the truth on your side. Wendy May have excelled in school - but she clearly is no litigator whatsoever.

If I was on that jury, and I watched Luis Riverias testimony vs Wendis testimony, I would absolutely relate too and believe Luis over Wendi all day. I don't mean relate too in the horrible decisions he makes. He just seems real and honest and actually the only one in this whole bunch that regrets this. Wendi seems fake.

Luis seemed absolutely certain that he saw Wendy, not because he knew what she looked like but because he was sitting next to Seigfredo when he called Katie to tell her. My theory on this is that Katie told Charlie about the Trip to Tallahassee a few weeks early when they were unsuccessful in carrying out the hit. Now Katie is telling Charlie once again “ They’re down there now, they’re outside Dan’s house”, Charlie wanted to find out if Katie was lying about even hiring someone to commit the murder. So Charlie calls Wendy, who is only 10 minutes away, and asks her to go by Dan’s & see if there are 2 men sitting in a car outside the house. Now Charlie knows that Katie isn’t BS-ing him about the murder…

1) Luis sighting Wendi outside the house was supposedly on the FIRST trip 2) The sighting was false. Dan had the kids, and the prosecution has verified Wendi was not there to the extent they stipulated (placed on record as fact) she was not there in the most recent trial (Charlie's).

I believe they saw Wendi on the first visit which is why she switched it up the last time and went by the scene AFTER instead of BEFORE like she did the first time. Also, during her police interview, she mentioned getting keys made (when the receipt fell out of her purse) I wonder if Sig was given a key to the house since Sig told Rivera to go into the house to shoot him on the first trip.

Irony: Louis Rivera was the ONLY one with a court appointed attorney (public defender), yet he got the BEST deal. The ONLY one that will see the light of day. That stare he gave Charlie makes so much sense to me now.
