Loved the show and I've never been one to watch something like it. Many times on the show I noticed a slight English accent from Charlie Hunnam. Looking forward to his future projects! (I'll be missing that back and those baby blues...) Did anybody else notice how nervous he seemed talking about the MC's and their "activities"? Treading lightly there!

I go most of the week without watching any TV except for a little bit with my kids. But every Tuesday, I make sure to make an event out of watching Sons of Anarchy. We usually make it a pizza night at my house. It's a very well written show with great acting, though I have a hard time believing Ron Perlman ever rode a motorcycle before he started this show ;)

His accent is excellent. I watched all of series one before hearing he is a geordie (from Newcastle) His accent from sons is very convincing, guessing lots of hard work to perfect it. Geordies are very hard for the rest of England to understand. Ye knah worra mean like.

Your explanation was very easy to understand - and I sort of know what you mean. Norwegian and Swedish (as well as Danish) are languages very similar to each other. Still - for some reason - the Swedes seems to have difficulties understanding Norwegian (but not the other way around). A famous Norwegian TV-host (Fredrik Skavlan) air his show both in Norway and Sweden simultaniously, and translates the English of his famous guests into a sort of Norwish language and accent which sounds so strange.

@MrMike0113 I agree. I think it's a result of either accent removal classes or just being immersed in American culture. I know for myself, I didn't speak a word of Spanish until I spent 10 days in Barcelona. By the end of the trip, I could order food, ask directions, and converse on a rudimentary level.
@DuffPaddy111 жыл бұрын
It's name the given to people from Newcastle in England, where Charlie's from. Same as Cockney(London) or Scouser(Liverpool). If you type in 'Brian Johnson' (lead singer of AC/DC) or 'Cheryl Cole Interview' you'll notice the similarities with Charlie's accent.

@BennyPeterBjons thats a little harsh. I'm from new zealand can you tell the difference between a southern and northern or even austrailian accent associated with new zealand? its not easy to identify when you don't live in the same place. That doesn't make anyone an idiot

For a long time I refused to watch this show but one day I sat down and watched it and loved it! This show is fantastic and it does not hurt that Charlie is sexy as hell... not the only reason I watch it but I enjoy it that much more haha (side note, I hope he wears sun screen because being in the sun that often is going to fuck up his skin)
@MrSuperbombastik14 жыл бұрын
@Notebookwriter1 : The continuing plot is simply Jax's struggle for inner peace and understanding his father's word. That could easily be his motivation and still not have every episode dragged into one another. You, and the producer need to check out shows like "then came bronson" "star trek" and "kung fu" to understand what I'm talking about. both are perfect examples of great shows with underlying themes but each standing alone solid. Can be seen in any order and enjoyed.

@MrMike0113 Agreed. That's what I'm told as well. Same thing happend to me in The Netherlands. Ironically, one of the things about America that makes learning a language more dificult, is that in some places, languages other than English are predominant. So there is less of an urgent need to learn English.
