After a few years working, I branched out, did another TAFE course, achieved an associate diploma in business/accounting, while working for accountants doing accounting and tax returns. At this point, I don't think historical claim should be considered important enough to be a deciding factor. I think the most important question is this: Do the Palestinian people want an independent, autonomous Palestinian state? If so, what do they think would be necessary to get them there? Sadly, I very much doubt this includes a HAMAS government: they have been in power in Gaza since 2005, and they have not built water, power, or other necessary infrastructure in that time. If they had built bomb shelters for their people, they would not have to flee south whenever Israel sends out a warning another strike is coming. Nor would Israel have to give them three hours' notification of a four hour pause in military actions every day. Can anyone deny that the people in Gaza, those Palestinian people, are completely at Israel's mercy, and that it is HAMAS's fault that this is the case? I think the best thing for them would be to rise up, throw out HAMAS, and form their own government that would actually do the things that governments do. HAMAS hasn't shown interest in doing so, so why should they have the power? Especially when their big leaders are living in comfort and safety far from Gaza.

Let's see...Judea was invaded by the Romans, who administered the place. So they all decided to go to their original home and have a Jewish state, where they were the majority, where they would be safer. They had their chances to win, and because they can't win like honourable men, and fight man on man against soldiers, they resort to cowardly terrorists attacks, murdering innocent and completely unarmed men, women and children. Don't forget the Prophet Mohammed stated that any man who deliberate kills women and children, even the women and children of enemies, will never get into heaven, and never be forgiven by Allah. Isn't it strange that now Israel is fighting back, the "brave" Hamas are running and hiding behind their own women and children and crying "foul"!
