She says that rich neighborhoods get more money for their schools, and that’s why their kids are competent, educated, law-abiding citizens… That isn’t the reason. I lived in Baltimore for over a decade, and their schools are given nearly INFINITE, INSANE, budgets… WAY WAY more than any “rich” neighborhood. And yet it doesn’t prevent the students from being uneducated , aggressive criminals. And that’s the case for every single Democrat run city. Their school budgets are so hilariously high, if more people knew about it, they would be shocked, horrified, and then change their voting registration to Republican.

Yes, I saw an in-depth documentary on the Detroit public School system, it is every bit the zoo, money pit, and disgrace you describe. Teachers unions that equate to most of them having tenure, thus don't give a rip about the students. I keep saying it, it's no coincidence that right about the time that our major cities ceased to be conservatively governed in the early to mid 60s (some a bit later) is the point that they all started crumbling. And, no coincidence, this was right about the time that America turned its back in a significant way on God, in taking him out of the public sphere, the schools included.

Receiving an average of $57,600 per student per year with graduation rates under 70%... literally ranked LAST in graduation rates, and highest in general funding for public schools.... Most of these people also don't realize how much money is being flat out wasted in the public school system. If you examine school districts in democrat supermajority areas of the nation you will find that in every single one the administrators outnumber the teachers by a large margin. This is where the money goes- not to improving the education the students receive but instead into hiring more unnecessary administrators. They don't have any incentives into making the students stop failing; if the schools are doing well they can't continuously ask for more money to "fix" the problem. I think it’s partially driven by euros who see Americans as not well traveled, not well versed in euro culture, geography , politics etc. they are generally wrong though. It’s not Americas fault that our culture dominates much of the world causing that resentment. Additionally America is Huge and euros like to think of themselves as better traveled but the American who travels from New York to LA has seen as many different lands and cultures as the euro who travels from Germany to England. The time it takes an American to drive across the state of Texas, he could see a large part of Western Europe.

I would hazard a guess that most "top tier education" is not worth the paper it is written on ... unless it is a $1000 bill ... I have a degree in business computer systems from CSULB in CA ... and I have never used it in any job I ever got afterwards ... my current job of 31 years was hired after my IT experience in my prior job ... and I make mid 90's in salary ... and no student loan debt - I went in the 80's before the university costs skyrocketed but it was still a waste of time and money for me (IMHO).
