That's just a little inconvenient truth that the left / black people don't like to talk about. There's still slavery going on all over the world to this day. Especially still in Africa. African-Americans should help their brothers and sisters in Africa instead of whining about something they never experienced. Yes, slavery was wrong. But we corrected our forefathers' mistakes. We just can't dwell on it forever. Yes, it's part of America's history, but we have bigger fish to fry right now than slavery of the past. The emergence of China and allies is one of them. There are plenty of others too. But the elites like to keep us distracted with nonsense like gender neutral bathrooms instead of the real threats, them.

@Darksylux99 Жыл бұрын
That's not exactly true. If Objective Truth does exist in this world (and it does), then either ONE of the religions is right, or they are ALL wrong, and the truth has yet to be found. In this hypothetical, if we discovered one of them is right, would that just inherently make it the "best" religion, seeing as its origin, doctrine, and beliefs are all validated? For that matter, if the God of that religion dictates or claims a way of life as best, then it would be, as they have been the moral authority of this world, and therefore have the right to decide that. In Christianity's case, it is the most consistent and balanced of all beliefs, and acknowledges the impossibility of any human to accomplish the standard of morals set by God. No other religion has anything close to that level of self-realization or humility. Beyond a reasonable doubt, it has enough evidence to suggest its validity in terms of historical documentation and authenticity. I'm pretty sure that the religion that's actually true is the better one to follow. That isn't a subjective point, its fairly logical. Who cares if everyone doesn't agree? What ACTUALLY the truth?
@tonyputman3398 Жыл бұрын
All religions make truth claims. Their truth claims contradict the other religions truth claims. If we study the evidence, we can use our rational, logical minds to determine which evidence is strongest to support the truth claim.

Can’t win an argument dealing with religion. I’m neutral on Christianity, meaning that most folks that worship it are generally good folks. I’m absolutely against islam (lower case on purpose) because they are stuck in the 16th Century, at least, and the way they treat women is enough to make me to want them stamped out figuratively, and literally! Note: nobody that lived a mere 2,000 years ago could walk on water. The Romans kept really good records. There isn’t a single record made by a Roman Sentry (cop) where they reported seeing some supernatural thing on any given day. There is a record of Pontius giving the local Jews permission to crucify a guy named Jesus, that’s outside of the Bible, but no record of him raising from the dead. Only IN the Bible does that exist. Are we going to start believing in David Koresh after the same amount of time (~320 years) that it took to legitimize Jesus? Koresh said he was the son of God, too.
