The student picked a bad example mentioning Blaire White. She is someone who lives as a woman and distinctly says she is not a woman. A recent short I came across she said at the end "and I have balls". Socially she's a she, but still maintains a realistic biological view and knows she is not actually a "woman". I have a lot of respect for Blaire White, and have done so for years since I first saw her on the Rubin Report.

I love the "it's a societal construct" argument so much. Societal construct means that something was made by society- like language. Fun thing to consider, just because it was made by society doesn't change or invalidate the fact that what was made is based on reality and fact, again, like language. Sex and gender are the same thing, just like tough and hard mean the same. You can't swap sexes, you can't swap ages or species, you are what you are, and I agree with Charlie, it is cruel to pander and promote someone's delusions.

Also, it is no surprise that a young adult who probably doesn't speak in public very often, is less articulate than the speaker. Generally, I like these videos, but not this one.
