Happy New Year. What a great interview. Very interesting. Just some FYI. That Andean Black Corn Whiskey from Peru is distilled by an American living there. He follows all the rules for making Bourbon except of course that it is not made in the United States. The mashbill also leans quite heavily on malted grains. 60% Andean Black Corn, 30% Malted Wheat, 10% Malted Barley. Aged in white oak barrels imported from the united states. While the 45% ABV small batch you tasted in good, the Single Barrel Expressions are, in my opinion, much better. I've had several bottles which ranged from 59ish% ABV to 63ish% ABV. So good. In 2021, Don Michael's Black Whiskey won a Double Gold Medal at the International Bartender Spirits Awards with a score of 96 points In 2022, Don Michael's Black Whiskey was named "Best In Show" at the New York World Spirits Competition. This was across all spirit categories As always, Cheers from Florida! 🥃😎

The only Store that carried very limited amount of Glen Scotia here in the DC area told me that Glen Scotia lost it's US distributor. 1) Is it true? 2) When will they have another Distributor, so we can get some of their bottles again? Huge fan of the GS15 and the Double Wood.
