I remember at that time, Danny McGrain was nearing retirement and it was visible. You could see the white whiskers in his beard starting to show through and again, you knew it was coming and it hurt. My favourite Celtic player.

Why is Charlie not welcome by the club at Celtic Park. Yes, he has criticised the baord and drawn ire but as have many. The fundamental problem is over an interaction at Celtic Park, with Jim Whyte, caught by Sky cameras. The Fields of Athenrye plays over the tannoy. Jim Whyte, "Oh here we go, the tottie famine" Charlie, "ye, and they're all eating chips singing this." I don't doubt Charlie felt awkward at Whyte's bigotry and replied impishly as a result, but it's an unfortunate interaction and one which has been allowed to bolster a narrative that he is no real Celtic man.

Enjoyed the conversation, but Aberdeen have no chance of finishing above Rangers. Rangers will finish closer to Celtic THAN Aberdeen to Rangers. But still it will be a great years for Aberdeen.

I’ve always thought Aberdeen won’t sustain it over the season, although Rangers finishing closer to Celtic than they will be to Aberdeen is debatable. Celtic could win this league by the best part of 30 points if they keep it up and don’t get complacent, can’t see Rangers being that far ahead of Aberdeen tbh.

Ok with a game in hand for Rangers but, as I said, if Celtic don’t get complacent they won’t drop anywhere near as many points as Rangers from now until the end of the season and are on course for winning it by 20-30.
