"Looking for Alaska" is an 8-episode limited series based on the John Green novel of the same name. It centers around teenager Miles “Pudge” Halter, as he enrolls in boarding school to try to gain a deeper perspective on life. He falls in love with Alaska Young, and finds a group of loyal friends. But after an unexpected tragedy, Miles and his close friends attempt to make sense of what they’ve been through. The series stars Charlie Plummer, Kristine Froseth, Denny Love, Jay Lee, Landry Bender, Sofia Vassilieva, Uriah Shelton and Jordan Connor.

This show pulled at my heart strings like no other! The writing and the acting is superb and I think all these actors will go far in their career and I wish them nothing but success. As an avid reader I am kicking myself for not picking up a John Green book yet, but will definitely do so in the near future. All their performances were done so well, Denny Love- that performance was Emmy worthy. Kristine- You have such a grace and it was truly captured in this role. Charlie and Jay- great performances and I only expect more good things from the both of you. Thanks for a great show!

Denny Love is off to a great future. I know that for sure. He is SO relatable, funny, charismatic, and intelligent. He honestly reminds me of a more serious and smart Kevin Hart. He's very wise beyond his years. Hmmm, that kinda reminds me of a particular character within 'Looking For Alaska' xP Denny truly lives the role of the Colonel. Just like John Green said himself; he's the only person in the world that should have played the role of the Colonel. Man, what a great series it was! I would definitely recommend anybody to watch it. Especially if you've read the book. Anyway, Charlie also seems quite intelligent. Kristine definitely needs to work on her public persona, but her acting skills?-> top-notch. She'll become more comfortable as her career moves forward. She's also gorgeous. Oh, and Jay Lee, he's just that dude that's there.

Damn I didn't know Denny asked for that scene with Ron (who payed their teacher) at his house. I definitely shed a few tears. Ron was amazing in the show, especially when he had that heart to heart with Pudge about how everything that comes together must fall apart.

Very good group. So many others in the story. But this core group was impressive. I am only familiar with Kristine's work. Especially liked The Society. Says she is a Norwegian actor also,but born in New Jersey. Have seen all 8 Alaska episodes. Although it will make you cry, it has some comedic moments . Mostly it will break your heart. ☮️

Both of her parents are norwegian but her dad did a lot of work in the us, so she grew up both in new jersey and in ski (her wiki says oslo but she also says she was discovered at her local mall and she was discovered at the ski storcenter so)

looking for alaska is literally my favourite book in the whole world, it means so much to me and I treasure it so much. I remember going to see the movies of tfios and paper towns, which I loved, and being so scared of when this would happen with lfa and what it would be like 😭 I can’t wait to watch this, the cast seem great!!! anyone know where I can watch in the UK?
