If you haven't worked in the customer service industry. You haven't seen the true face of humanity. I had a lady order a sandwich once and she said "And if it doesn't look just like the picture. I'm bringing it back.".... she did, three times before my manager refunded her money and said "I'm sorry we couldn't get your order right." I'm so glad I don't have to deal with the general public anymore.

Dominos is also like that as someone who only made it four days before quitting. Thats mostly because of broken promises, incompetence, bad pay, etc etc etc. I hopped from job to job for the last year. Most of it in retail and then trying out a hotel position. After all that, I learned two things. If the management and coworkers treat you like garbage, leave, and they only show there true colors after your hired. Second, if you go into a place and everyone looks miserable, don't apply. I see this everywhere in retail... and strangely Taco Bell. I have been into several and never saw a face that felt welcoming.

Obviously its not going to be the best experience and there's always gonna be shitty coworkers and management. That's just how it is. Its up to you wether or not things lile that ruin your day, because at the end of the day youre getting paid. You are mighty lucky that you were able to just quit and find a new job whenever though, some people just bite down for a year or two n move on with their actual careers. All the best to you.

Nah, I leave 5 star reviews when I get a good portion and the food is good. Ratings should be rational for the venue. No one is expecting michelin star food at mcdonalds, so don't hold back a star if you don't get a filet burger. If the food is good and the portion is fair, give them the rating they should get.

it would be more efficient though, if everyone there understood the method then the staff would (almost) instinctively know what the order is. if it cuts out the necessity to write the order down and read it then it saves on time. don't get me wrong I don't think its a good idea, I'm just saying in a perfect world where everyone understands the system in place, if it is saving time, then its more efficient. we can assume it doesn't/ didn't work but on a technicality, if everyone knew what they were doing, then it would save time so... fite me hoard of commenter big brains lol

It actually is really efficient, and it’s part of the “experience” for the customers to hear it and watch. Orders get called a specific way that combines things so nothing gets repeated (a sausage egg and cheese sandwich and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich -> two egg and cheese sandwiches, one sausage, one bacon [not exact wording]). The plating makes it so any cook can come/leave and everyone will know what’s going on, which is especially helpful during a rush at shift change. It seems convoluted and confusing, but once you know it, it all makes sense.
