Was lucky to meet Charlie after a concert in Vegas at house of blues he was walking through the casino at 3 in the morning with his luggage,couldn't of been nicer even after his long night of playing

All you say is true, but Prine didn't write this song ... it was written by Roland Sally, who plays bass for Chris Isaak.
