I watch Charlie veitch all the time along with loads of auditors etc. watching this video has put a different perspective on it for me. I think auditors who record people at work when they try and tell people what to do is fair game, but recording vulnerable people who aren’t on drugs in public is the wrong side of the line for me.

I watch Charlie but he is a middle class ego who oversteps the mark all the time. When he calls out the dirty scum in cottages cove etc, I’m all for him. But when he does things like get into arguments with people using the ambulance service for loved ones, him shouting “you can’t park there” to someone who’s just had a car crash etc, he comes across as an idiot. Like I say, I watch him all the time. 70% of the time I like him. But if he’s not careful, karma will bite him one day. Over the last few videos he’s ending up cowering in shops and pleading for people to ring the police, so I think his gig might be up soon anyway as they’ve sussed him out

I worked CV out a while ago, rarely picks on anyone who can return a sustained attack, camera often cuts in after the original altercation so we do not see the whole incident, prime example was I think the Bolton? video. Women with kids is 25 feet away next shot she is 25 feet past and asking him not to swear in front of her kids, what was said in between? When outnumbered goes crying to his "friends" the police. I have a policy now if anyone as in other auditors sing phrase to the veitch I stop commenting and liking their video's for at least 20 vids. If they sing his praise 3 times they are removed from my youtube list never to be viewed again. There is another well known auditor gone the same way after some dialogue, turns out to be a complete narcissist, just cannot accept and analyze any criticism whatsoever. CV does not give a toss about anyone and as long as the sheckles are rolling in he never will. I am sure karma is on its way soon. Oh by the way you just earned yourself another subscriber.

So, in the hope that CV revisits his critics and conscience, in a reflective way, I posted this on CV's channel after watching this video. "Charlie, take this guy up on his request, walk a mile in his shoes. Debate with him on his channel. Are you man enough! He is calling you out in civil, reasonable terms. The man you videod, exploited; his name is Warren. Who are you to one-sidedly punch down and profit from the poor? Don't ask me, ask your conscience. You owe it to Warren, yourself and maybe even some of your viewers who sometimes wonder how low you can go without a shred of remorse. As someone who has been homeless I can understand what Warren must be going through but in that video he acted like a violent thug shouting, swearing and making threats and I don't care whether he understands the law or not there is just no need for it and it gives not only himself but other homeless people a bad name. Granted Charlie might use their struggle to make his money but you can't really blame him for peoples views on the homeless when all we ever see is them sparked out all over the floor or in some kind of drugged up\drunken violent act.

I'm no Veitch fan, but a lot of these are either professional beggars, actual homeless who cause a nuisance to people and who have a drug/drinking habit. The people should also be free to go around their business (members of the public) without having these homeless guys harass them. I know homeless people given many chances who've blown it, why, because they know that their will always be enablers to feed and clothe them and people to give them money for their habit.

My thoughts were it's not very nice if you are filming the street then someone starts picking on you for doing that because they happen to be there, you're not going up filming them specifically, so it depends what Veitch really did, did he go up to him first and then only show the reaction on video or did he get started on because he happened to be filming per se, I do know that in another Veitch video recently he argued with a family worried about their grandma in an ambulance rather than respectfully leaving them alone and in the same video as that he and his girlfriend were laughing at the "crashies", so yes this shows he often doesn't have empathy where the situation needs it. People though regardless of their situation shouldn't be able to threaten someone who is merely doing a vlog in the street, as that is our freedom.

There's alot of support for the homeless on the ground from the you and the charities etc. You know what mate if it wasn't for you guys these poor homeless guys would be fucked mate. I see it you guys are picking up the pieces from housing policies, greed and unfairness. One thing I've noticed, very important, there doesn't seem to be any voice for these people directly to the council's, housing associations, property pool, private landlords etc. They are getting away with murder. I reckon the housing sector needs a team of volunteers that can get a grip and make these people accountable. It could be as simple as knocking on these housing offices doors and start asking questions, like how many homes are you giving to immigrants, how many are you giving to scousers and the homeless. How many homes currently avail be, who are they going to. Can do lots more to. If you know anyone mate in this kind of thing give us a shout. I'd love to help or form a team. Thanks

I don’t live in Liverpool but where I do live we have the same issues, I’m not young and have mobility issues but if someone is picking on a homeless person something comes overs me and I gain this inner strength and I will confront them. @@Kevcupo It is. All they have to do is go to citizens advice, be polite, and take the help. That's what I did 2 years ago. These people just don't want to take responsibility. They want to be treated like children.

Filming in public is perfectly legal in the UK. There is no expectation of privacy for anyone. Thankfully, we are not Communist China or Socialist North Korea with their draconian laws. If you want privacy in the UK, you must create it yourself (such as wearing a mask). As many 1st amendment auditors in the US correctly point out, there are cameras all over the place filming us all without permission, yet people only get upset when one is being held by a human, as opposed to being fixed to a wall. The security guard inflamed the situation by falsely claiming (in front of the homeless person) that you cannot film people in public. The firestarter who lit the fire (causing the homeless man to become agitated is who you should be speaking to).
