He does write his own songs and also the melodies are his, a few songs on his other albums had co-writers. Sugarcane is all Charlie!!!

Charlie, if I can make a suggestion: Don't upload more than one video per day. Most of us are subscribed to many sites. Others may be different but for me, personally, anyone posting multiple videos I skim over thinking I'll come back to them, which I rarely do.
