Fun fact the Fleet Farm stores and the Farm and Fleet stores are owned by the same family but the family members had different views on what the name of the store be. So if you are in Illinois the store is called Farm and Fleet. But if you are in Wisconsin the store is called called Fleet Farm. Also the correct name for the store should be Farm and Fleet and the reason is not because I am from Illiniois.
@hawks2252 Жыл бұрын
I think you are incorrect. The Mills family started Fleet farm and the Blain family (freinds of the Mills) started Blains Farm and fleet. They agreed to operate in different states as not to compete. That's out the window now with KKR investment group out of Manhatten buying Fleet farm in 2015 or so. KKR will run it inot the ground, load it up with debt, file banruptcy, not pay their suppliers, keep the property and build condos and aprtments. same they do all the companies they buy.

It is owned by KKR investment banking group out of Manhatten, NY. since around 2010. They run up debt on the companies, various ways (using it for collateral on other companies, etc.) load up on inventory then don't pay their suppliers and file bankruptcy. They get to keep the property because you can't take property in bankruptcy and turn the property into condo's and apartments for continued income.

I fancy myself a climate change culture migration planner. See, folks in south Florida and southern Louisiana are gonna be migratin' north in the next decade or two. I'm hoping the south Floridians will snug the East Coast and blend into the megalopolis that is Atlanta to NYC. My selfish hope was that the Cajuns (from the Acadiana area of Louisiana) would come here to Alabama, to help us relax. I've changed my mind. Cajuns are a perfect match for wherever you are. Y'all's cultures both revere nature, community, self-sufficiency, friendliness, food and drink. You guys would also love the Cajuns for their use of festive lights from Thanksgiving clear through Mardi Gras.
