I'm the exact opposite. I LOVE the summer. Longer days, trips to the lake, all the plants are green and flourishing, all the animals and wildlife are out and about, I don't have to worry about hitting black ice while driving, and I don't have to dress in three layers just to enjoy the outdoors. Winter is just too dormant for me. Hardly any foliage, really short days, most wildlife is holed up until spring, cold as hell. I enjoy skiing and winter camping every now and then, but I'll always take summer over winter.
@cetyl26262 жыл бұрын
Right? There are some real stakes involved in living in the winter vs summer. Winter is living! Don't get me wrong, summer is fun too- (not the sun burns and humidity and mosquitos) but the freedom is nice. Mostly other people will join me outside in the summer.

Not only that, they will take something out of the box, decide it's too big of a job so they will leave it for later, then put everything back in the box EXCEPT the directions. Males don't have that need so much, so our digits get to be warmer with a more even blood distribution.

Well growing up I loved the snow but as I've gotten older (but not with all the physical ailments) and having too many jobs where I had to do snow cleanup, I've begun to hate it. Now I'm retired though so it's only MY PLACE I have to contend with. So I guess it's better now.

Aroens isn't what they used to be - since 2016, many of the engines are chinese manufacture. Hands down the best residential snow throwers are the track drive Honda's, but they cost a fortune - a new Honda 1132 is over 3 thousand dollars, and isn't even they're largest or most expensive model.

Winter in the midwest: 10 inch snow storm and the schools are on a 2 hour delayed start! We chuckle when they get 1/2 inch of snow in the south and everything is shutdown. We always send warm thoughts for a speedy "recovery"!!!!
@B2WM3 жыл бұрын
Back when I lived in the midwest, I liked snow well enough. Then I moved down south, thought I could drive these hilly, curving, unplowed backroads in "just a little bit of snow", and discovered the joys of black ice where it melted and refroze overnight and treatment was a bag of kitty litter on the driveway if you're lucky. Down here, I'm firmly in the hater camp.
