As a strong Haitian American man originally from Flatbush, Brooklyn, I grew up in the comfortable middle-class suburbs of the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys area of Los Angeles. Our communities in Flatbush and Crown Heights were and are better than Little Haiti 🇭🇹 in Miami. Although my people can do a better job in keeping their community in Florida better, I can also say that there are a lot worse neighborhoods in this country!

I love this area i pass by everyday with a bike from wynwood to north beach. They play loud music at night in front of houses, sometimes i see djs and some dancing. People look happy here

There were tons of people and cops near by, 20 minutes after coming back outside from the shop the car was gone 🤣. Our group was stranded there in the rain lol.
