The amount of people who are shocked is ridiculous. Electrical engineering covers a broad range of topics and believe it or not, damn near every electrical engineer knows multiple low and high level programming languages. Stop hating on this clearly intelligent person if you don’t know what you are talking about.

@@tam6011but what programming languages do electrical engineers learn?
@tam60114 күн бұрын
Rust, vhdl, verilog, c, c++, java, assembly, python, embedded linux . There are more languages but being hired as a programmer isn’t out of scope. You are probably used to comp sci folks. However, they more than likely aren’t programming chips, learning embedded linux, or low no code. They are probably learning Java, python, c++, rust and go. Rust and go maybe wishful thinking.

Software engineer is what they call programmer nowadays, right? So I'm a bit confused about her being hired as a programmer.
