I remember watching this when I was in middle school.😭😫 Becoming an adult is not easy when you are doing it all alone with no help from a parent or any family members. So, if you still live with your family, then be thankful because not everyone can succeed with having a roof over their heads. And not everyone have a day off from work. It's nothing to be ashamed of tbh living with your family still. Because everyone's success comes in differently and a different day.

i'm in my last year of middle school today. I'm gonna update every year so remind me please when you see this? update (may18,2020) : unfortunately, I couldn’t finish my last year inside our school, our school actually didn’t had online classes and passed all students from nursery to senior high. I moved back to Philippines during eight grade so we don’t have any moving up ceremonies (Philippines used to have k-10 and had moving up ceremonies for sixth graders instead of eight and it changed in 2013, where k-12 was implemented in the Philippines but high school still starts at seventh grade. 7th to 10th grade is junior high and 11th to 12th is senior high. We don’t have 9th graders as freshmens or 10th as sophomores) Usually, our school starts within the month of June but because of the ECQ, our school starts in July with online classes and August for school irl :)) i hope you all get that. I’m impressed you guys are still reminding me, thank you for that because in the next few months, my next update will be here :)) update (september 10, 2020) : Sadly i don't think i can start my first year of high school right. We just have online classes with the same classmates..... update (june 26, 2021) : well uhmm… I feel like i lost friends? I hate this pandemic so much but at the same time I like taking online classes because i hate going outside. I KNOW i did soo bad in school but i’m in high honors for some reason?? It feels off because i know a lot did better than me this whole school year. No new friends, didn’t really meet new people or even talked to people who I haven’t to before pre-covid… or even talk to my classmates. I changed for the worst honestly. I hate it so much I want to cry. update (august 29, 2021) : second year of high school here i come... during summer i only had a few chances to talk or hang out with my friends, i kinda want to move schools next year. update (april 26, 2022) : Last school year, 9th grade was quite a sad year for me. I was struggling with communicating with my friends or anyone outside my house at all. But during the start of 2022, I decided to become ‘myself’ again or just try becoming more 'friendly' and open myself up more to my friends. Guess what? I have talked to soooo many people!! I got a new friend too ^^ I’m really really happy. School's very stressful since i’m a ‘junior high school completer’ and was assigned to be a leader in many group projects, which is the number one reason why i got to chat with my classmates ^^ really really happy about that. I hope when me and my friends meet again, by the time i edit this again, won’t be as awkward as when we met a few months ago. I hope so. update (october 15, 2023) : guess what. I’m a senior now!!! a lot has happened. I guess this speech is starting to work for me… During 10th grade nothing much quite happened, still the same old me. I moved to a different place with my sister, we live in an apartment with just us two because my sister got in her dream university here and i decided to follow (and my parents let me hehe). Well, during 11th grade I felt super happy I was able to feel comfortable with my classmates. All of my classmates were able to talk to me and I was “me” again during middle school, the same me who can speak to anyone without having to think twice.. Although i wouldn’t have done it without my boyfriend. I met him during 11th grade and we’re happily in a relationship for 8 months now in two days (TMI…) For friends? I guess you could say it’s the same to no friend (excluding my bf) to talk to always for rants, gossips, etc. But I have a friend group who are kind to me and doesn’t say mean stuff to me in a really insulting and backhanded way… We have research projects now and I’m always the leader, so it’s been really stressful. But i’m so happy with school rn (about classmates), I feel like i’ve slowed down with academics, but I feel happier and better^^ update (may 17, 2024) I’LL BE GRADUATING IN 5 WEEKS!!

Life is easy: be yourself. That's it. That's the key. People love when others be themselves because it's something new. Something refreshing. People try so hard to fit in by associating and changing for others when they could do it so much more easily by just being themselves. That's all anyone ever needs to hear... BE YOURSELF!
@simoneschmitz237110 жыл бұрын
You have so little experience. You can't judge the difficulty of life for everyone.
@Thecriticguy1610 жыл бұрын
That's honestly the stupidest thing I've ever heard. People become themselves by learning and sampling other behaviors; we test and see what we like. And this freak experiment goes on until the day we die. Those different personalities are harnessed from people of all stripes and fuse to create a new element. How does someone just "Be themselves"? You don't get your own manual when you're born.
@onelonelypickle10 жыл бұрын
John Rose Clearly I didn't mean disregard everything anyone says ever. Do it when it counts... when you have to share an opinion or suggest an idea. Instead of following others, lead by example. Yes we have to consider others and sometimes refrain from actions that will harm a lot more than it will do good but for the most part being yourself and doing what you think is the best is the way to go if you want to live a fulfilling life. Simone Schmitz It's because I have the experience I do that I know this is the right choice. Clinging to others means you are reliant on them for support... without them, you fail.
