What a cracking job you’re doing teaching this apprentice, good to ask him what he would and then explain the options.

I did 2 years at collage learning bricklaying but never found a good bricky to work with or a company. So lost interest amd didn't learn how to set up ext. Wish I had found a good bricky to learn under, but unfortunately, it never happened. 17 years in the military now as an aircraft engineer but would love to go back to this but it's been way to long haha

@@CharlieCollison Thank you, shame as the job opposite where I was did allow for it - site by site i'd imagine - Literally never saw anyone in shorts cut themselves by accident and then go to report it as an accident. I've sliced my leg with full trackys on (my own fault) and never said a blink as I know it was my own fault in that particular moment. Had I have been in shorts it would have been the exact same no different.

Nope there are probably 10 apprentices passing in and around Charlie on the plots GSQ are requesting him on week by week. GSQ have probably had 100 trowels in total spread across said jobs. Charlie would probably be the best and most importantly be neatest, most efficient and polite trowel to learn off from an apprentice/improvers perspective. If he has taken a liking to this fella be sure if it's for a damn good reason and Charlie has had more than 10 minutes to see him in action which is more than what the YT content shows us.
