Brilliant Charlie, you constantly pass on your advice and skills to those about you. Your Channel here has given you the self confidence to sharpen up the minds of potential key workers, you are obviously wise and talented at Your Game. You have that enthusiasm for a new venture within your trade. Good luck.

I'm in that gen and it's embarrassing, shame to see it too. Not much of us grafters left and it's getting worse as time goes on. I myself am looking to get into the bricklaying trade but I'm having no luck with anyone taking on apprentices! Great vid btw as always keep it up!

Some good advice there. Also if you're running in at the same time as your corners make sure the corners are slightly slack. The weight and the jointing up will bring them plumb. Too many brickies are obsessed with the bubble in middle. Trouble with building slack is too many inexperience inspectors show up. Put a level up the middle of the wall and cry that the wall is falling in. In the nicest possible way, tell them to feck off and come back with their precious little level and laser in the morning.

Charlie I’m a 39 year old English bricklayer been on the trowel 5/6 years I’m from the west midlands moved down south for better money 3 years ago. Had work coming out my ears £250 pd taking it for granted, broke my wrist punching a helmet fucked my wrist out of work for 3months tried going back to work Christmas time was dead couldn’t even get a labour job ended up Homless on the streets 😂 I took being a bricklayer for granted moaned about it every day all the cunts you have to work with the weather bad back and so on.... Now I miss it so badly and I’m going to embrace the trade and bounce back learn stiff upper lip head down arse up 😂 I have been a smoker drinker drug abuser gambler for 25 years. I watch your videos because I actually like people from Essex cut from the same cloth and if I need to learn a new way of putting up profiles or doing a gable or nocking up creamy muck.... I don’t agree with you all the time but for young English lads looking for a future and inspiration in bricklaying you do a amazing job brother it’s for free on KZbin for all to see. Respect brother a hope you. And the family are healthy and happy ❤
