Thank you for all you have done for all who have suffered through seizures! My daughter was on the diet for 4 and a half years and was seizure and drug free! She has since went through puberty and started having a few seizures again, but nothing like the 80-120 seizures a day she used to have. The video you made for families like us was what kept us going during the beginning of the diet. God Bless you and God Bless Charlie!

After the 4 and a half years of dieting, did you stop giving her ketogenic food? Thats probably why she had new seizures. Follow the diet the whole family, for the rest of your lives. The health aspects of it (also called LCHF) is incredible.

We are not made to eat grains or sugar like we are doing today. We are made to go days without eating and live off of the fat on our body sometimes. A lot of diseases will react in a good way if we eat what we have been eating for millions of years. Crohns disease is just about gone in me with a high fat low carb diet. Sugar and carbs feed bacteria viruses and fungus, Chances are epilepsy is caused by some bug in the system that feeds off of sugar.

I figured it out when I found my daughter in the kitchen floor eating crisco. She was obviously craving what her brain needed.

I am not brave and was not brave, I was scared as hell she was going to die. I didn't want to have to deal with any of it. But I had to. So I did. She is 26 years old today, profoundly delayed due to her many medical issues. She still has a seizure now and then, but nothing at all like when she was younger and she has not gone status in a very long time!
