Perhaps a little late on the comment, but when you do some temporary farming is a huge 30 fields operation right from the start :) DOn't know the game, love the series, but always wondering why you build so big :D

21:36 i mean, realism mode is all about that annoying fun, I'd be down for seeing the excavators and bulldozers physically drive to the areas and kinda slowly change it to the height it needs to be

Thank you for the videos, found you when I had a few issues with cartel tycoon. Saw you playing this and immediately bought it and started on realistic mode right away. Enjoying the game and thanks for the help figuring a few things out. My first game I may have bit off more than I can chew, however big plans take big loans. Thanks for the tip on steel and the rail builders, bought the rail builders early and stocked up on steel.

Charlie, do you think you'd have time to make a quick dedicated video on "lessons learned" or something of the sort from this save? Something detailing the good things and the bad things about your start that is all consolidated into a single video? I've been interested in picking up this game and trying out the realistic mode and have learned a lot from you, but having a good one-stop-shop for the good, bad, and ugly seems like it could be extremely helpful. I love the videos! I finally got caught up so I'm looking forward to the daily releases now, keep up the good work :)

@@CharliePryor I think a good starting point could be early-game industries and city placement. I know you've mentioned to start our cities closer out to the border but it'd be nice to know what to prioritize for super early game industry, especially on a map such as this series' where there really isn't any resources close to the border to work with. Past that it'd probably be tips on scaling up, timing on when to switch from imports to self-sufficiency, etc. etc. Perhaps you could do "Early Game ____ Industry", taking a more focused approach on one particular industry per video? And maybe a pros and cons list associated with each industry of some sort. There's quite a lot of directions you could go with shorts!

well. this series is perfectly explaining how communism works. in 17:00 you must borrow more and more money in a great hope that next year will be better than current one. multiple projects done in 15 episodes but half of them is still not working :D but "soon" it will be all great. typical communism :D great series BTW

Also, the angles and spaces that you are left over with after trying to fit in farms can be made to look better and less bothersome for your soul if you fill them with trees, helps them blend in a bit! 🌲

The most important item, for your empire's development, is the Charlie Pryor Benevolence (propaganda) Radio Station. I've noticed that many of the citizens are only working 8-10 hours per day. They should be working at least 20/day.

Kinda! It’s not max connections…. But instead, water is being requested in a higher volume than the PIPE connected to it can deliver! ;)

I’m actively clicking time acceleration tools in the game, at the top of the screen, when I speed and slow back down.

Or you can go even faster with CTRL+NUMPAD 1 and CTRL+NUMPAD 2

DO NOT use CTRL after you have people. You are literally breaking the simulation by doing so, and you've now broken the balance of your game

Yeah I see that. I don’t see it causing any issue though, and it has almost no connections that the other doesn’t have too - with the other one having priority and only 51% load. That’s what’s odd. As long as people have heat I guess.

When this game came out I put farms on it pretty much right away to get money coming in. That was a long time ago and I have seen that it has had many updates to it. Watching you play this I have the itch to play it again. Your game looks great keep up the good work

I definitely could have farmed a lot earlier. One of a few notable mistakes made - but I’ve been buying crops to convert them, and that’s fairly cheap

@@CharliePryorproblem with farming, it’s not really suitable for early game. Because you need a lot of vehicles.

@@daniil3815 only a few really. 3 tractors and 3 harvesters will cut into crop buying considerably in early game, and that is only about 2 years of crop buying worth of financial commitment up front. Factor in fuel costs of those vehicles, and you can reasonably get a farm op for about a 2K pop going for about 5 years of crop import costs (so the investment breaks even in about 5 years). It’s a lot less than that though when you factor in that you could have been exporting the crops before you had people. Hence, why I feel I was later than I should have been.

Great vid once again, i am a gammer , 14h a day. my CHARLIE"S-P morning videos is what motivate me to play my games each day. i do link you to the games i play each time i get a chance in world chat, to drop in and subscribe or more to your chanel, and ive gotten a lot of positive reply when gammers do, like.. this guy is cool, or very entertaning... hopping you keep gamming for years to come. a off topic tip ... you know when youve place a road, or a train track,,, and build something close to them, sometimes you get a glich, like over a track, or a road, seem when this happends , by slapping a waypoint then deleting it , it will fix that glich, your track or road will not look overlap by that glich. keep up the good work!!!

@@CharliePryor the heater was showing 101% of capacity, then 50% potential capacity when you added the project for the second one, so it is in range but there was no heating capcaity left.
