That, sir, is a work of art! A tip of the ol' Filson to you.... brick Just moved to N.E. Arvada from the N.W. Highland neighborhood of Denver. Its a real blessing to have found you and your brick&mortar fly shop so close by. Tight Lines and blue bird days.

Thanks for that great pattern. Great looking nymph. Deer Creek has a great UV resin that dries with no tack. Solarez is also great. I have it and use it as well. All the best, Sean

Hi Charlie, I'm a new subscriber because I am thrilled with your fly tying abilities. They are very impressive and an inspiration to a fly tying novice. If I may be so bold as to make a suggestion, your introduction audio level is plenty loud enough but for an aging fly fisherman it's a little hard to hear when you're speaking. Could you please increase the audio level during the time when you're instructing us? Even with my volume up all the way it's sometimes difficult for me to hear you at those levels. TIA, Paul

Paul Valley , thanks for the input! I’m a pretty soft spoken guy so I’ll have to make a point of speaking a bit more loudly!

Charlie's Fly Box Hi Charlie, I was in broadcast video and you can usually increase the volume in post-production or you might want to consider wearing a wireless lapel microphone. They have a crisp audio response and will easily increase your volume before post-production. Thanks for the fast reply too. Paul

Charlie's Fly Box I forgot to ask does that clear coat work as quickly as shown in your video? It seem like you only had it on for three or four seconds before it was hard. Paul

Paul Valley it cures pretty darn quick. The lamp is powerful and zaps it in a hurry.
@donaldburleyson30996 жыл бұрын
As far as the curing goes it does harden very quick. I accidentally cured the top of my bottle shut from about 12 inches away. The lamp is alot stronger than you think!
