The most amazing thing about his voice is that he is more or less seltthaught. Ok, knowing swedish curriculum of elementary school, I'm betting he's seen his part of choir practice in musical lessons. I've seen a video of him revisiting his school and performing for his former musical teachers and their present pupils.at some kind of end of term concert. But he has reputedly said that a book of musical vocal theory and practising to the radio has been his staple diet.

After listening to the remainder of your comments I just had to say that you really should experience the band that Tommy just left, Sabaton...They are amazing too! My suggestions are, Christmas Truce, 1916, and The Last Stand (all of the official videos). They do historical battle metal...You not only get to hear epic music but you learn about history in a very palatable way! Also, check out Tommy's band Majestica (formerly Reinxeed)(pronounced rainseed) "Above the Sky", official video.

Ok so .. previus bands( deep breath) Started his own band ReinXeed at 14 .. 6 studio albums ( in first one ..all was done by Tommy guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocal .. engaging musicians for gigs ) .. they are now known as Majestica .. two albums since 2019 .. is recording a third ( huge reason for having to leave Sabaton) .. he also put out two cover albums “ Swedish hits goes metal” ( and 3 albums with golden resurrection as co vocal and guitarist ).. he ” hit the wall” at 26 cancelled a pending European tour and gigs in USA and went home ( not because the creative work Nimitz the day job at the record label .. and the “ we put a lot of money into you ..you need to take that gig ( parents birthdays , own sickness or .. m.,llmm ….started working at a community center having a fun band with co workers ( hot beef injection) and Sabaton called again in 2016 and he became their guitarist ..?since then his been vocalist in Symphony of tradegy and memories of old and done numerous guest appearances During Covid he got bored and posted videos 0f what he did when sickly and in quarantine.. covers and instrumentals .. and realized people appreciated them and that it was something to explore further .. hence Tommy’s YT channel .. must be fantastic to work out your creativity and skill against all diffrent styles and challenges and explore what you can’t get in your chosen style of music

Thanks Charlie. I really appreciate your reaction style. Tommy is a busy guy. In addition to his solo covers ( he releases most Fridays through the year) his band Majestica is actively playing gigs and the are working on their new album. PlusnTommy was selected for a Gary Moore tribute concert participation which was early April AND he just is releasing his first Gin. Thanks again!

I have watched tommy's video maybe 600 million times. And still, two things remain the same. 1: The first verse shakes me a bit. My body is not prepared for it. My mind is unattuned to the high pitch. Like I have to adjust. And 2: Holy fkng hell, this is so fkng awesome!! The Sirens of Greek mythology can take their siren songs and pack up.
