It really wasn't long enough! South African contemporary gospel is off the chain. Many musicians study jazz in music institutions, so they know exactly what they are doing when they play. Bheka Mthethwa is the face of SA gospel bass. Everyone wants to play like him.

Here's the thing Charlie...Pastor Benjamin Dube is thee father of South African Gospel...he has contributed a lot & he was the one who encouraged our artists to start composing instead of copying American gospel...they normally say when he calls they jump😅 & simply honour his requests, so he always has an advantage to work with any artist he sees suitable for the project he might be working on (it can be anyone from Joyous, Spirit of Praise or any solo artists who are not even part of any group) it's just honour for any artist to be recognised & work with him😊
